Push ‘em back, push ‘em back, way back

It’s a crisp Saturday morning, not a cloud in the sky. Is there any better place to be than sitting in a folding chair, sipping hot coffee and watching your grandson play football? Not to this Grandma! This is Garrett’s first year playing flag football. It’s a version of regular football but instead of tackling the players you remove a flag or flag belt from the runner to stop the play.

The highlight of the game (other than they won) was Garrett scoring his first touchdown. Afterwards there was the celebratory chest bump that is just way to cool when done by 6-year olds. Go Chiefs!

After the game we’re off to The Frosty Frog for ice cream. Two scoops later, with the excitement of the day wearing down, Garrett crashed in the arms of his Papa Mac. Can they stay this young forever?
