“When you’re retired, every day is Saturday”. That’s a direct quote from my hubby. So when the weather forecast on Thursday predicted it was going to be a beautiful day, we headed to Ft. Mountain State Park in Chatsworth, GA. What better way to spend the day than hiking to the top, having a picnic lunch and taking in the gorgeous views. Wish you had been there.
I almost forgot…we saw a small black bear. Thank goodness he was crossing the road in front of us instead of crossing our hiking trail!

A day at the pool sounds great The pictures on FB were inviting! At least both Chris and Matthew have neighborhood pools that we can go to when the urge strikes.
