Welcome to Frankie D’s

I’m a wife, mother, grandmother and retired professional. Raised in Oak Cliff , Texas (a suburb of Dallas)  and am currently living in Marietta, GA. I’m a proud Southern girl with my roots firmly planted in God and family. I’m married to Ronny, a talented woodworker. Sawdust has become part of our home decor! I have two terrific sons and beautiful daughters-in-law. They’ve given me five precious grandchildren, four boys and one girl.

This blog is dedicated to my family. It’s my journey, past and present, which I hope will give them a glimpse of their heritage and the traditions that have been passed on to me by my parents and past generations.
